Potty Training and Weekend Acomplishments

What a great weekend!!! I love potty training. I know sounds weird but my boys are so dang cute at it. Their little expressions when they need to go and the excitement because they are so proud of themselves or for each other. I LOVE IT! Spending most my weekend in the bathroom wasn't bad either, and so worth it.

Day 1: All went well and the boys are loving it! The do so good at running into potty when they need to go. It's so cute and they get M&Ms if they go. So much fun. Game plan: to be complete by the end of Monday.

Day 2: SWEET!!! Both woke up nice and dry and ready for another day spent in the bathroom. Ha ha for really 90% of my day was in that room. But all is going great. Except the #2 thing... Nic's scared of it I think? Any help or suggestions would be great, he holds it all day till I put a diaper on at night.

Day 3: Awesome! And complete... We even did it at Grandma's house. And the #2 thing no longer a problem. They are so smart and adorable. I love being a mom!

Since the potty training went so well this weekend I decided to get some other things done too. Like cleaning out my "Scary Room". My storage room is horrible and so many things I really don't need. So I bagged up some things and put them in my car to go to the D.I. and some other things to Kid to Kid. Also, I moved my TV from my bedroom into the living room. I've been wanting to for a long time now and just haven't. So I called Ren and made him come up with a friend and move it for me. (To heavy! Ha ha) Now I just need to get some more pics hung and something on top of the entertainment center and I'm set. OH... and something to fill in the blank in my bedroom like a dresser maybe. Yeah don't have one of those yet. Sweet! So proud of all my accomplishments this weekend.

So why is it exactly that I can't do anything right the first time? My whole life has been like that! What the heck? I would really like to figure it out. Maybe I just haven't found something I'm good at. That might be it. Or maybe it's my personality, can you change that? I know I'm pretty carefree and that doesn't comply with being percise on things. It's weird looking back through my life I really am hard on myself. Things that I didn't finish or don't think I did good enough for myself I really regret. And it just keeps happening. I don't get it. I wish it could just stop being that way, does life ever slow down enough to let you help yourself?
